Steve and Yvonne Nix
Armed with ministerial training from Texas Bible College, a secondary education degree from Purdue University, and graduate studies in Spanish and education administration from Butler University and Indiana University, Stephen Nix and his wife, Yvonne, received their appointment as UPCI missionaries to Argentina in May 1985. He directed the Apostolic Bible Institute in Buenos Aires, served as the national treasurer for the UPC of Argentina, and preached and taught at seminars, camps, retreats, and fellowship meetings. In 1996 the Nixes transferred to Nicaragua, arriving in June. They live in Managua, the capital city, where he directs the Bible school and serves as the missionary supervisor. He also travels extensively, visiting
even the remote churches, encouraging the pastors and evangelizing.
